I work in a bank, and all of our air conditioning vents in the ceiling have mold growing around them on the ceiling tiles. The maintenance man refuses to change the filters, rather, he just uses a duster and vacuume to cl …atory symptoms in myself and several employees, but my boss refuses to call saying "no, the ceiling is just dirty" IS there a place we can call and FORCE them to change the filters and give the ducts a thorough cleaning?
If you want to FORCE them then you may have a long legal battle ahead of you. To start this you will need documentation by an independent observer to furnish the lawyers about your unsafe working conditions. You will win …king for any justification for OSHA to inspect the workplace. If they suspect that there are unsafe work areas as they define them they will protect your identity and force the employer to correct the fault and fine them.

The air conditioning vents in our ceiling are blowing a large amount of dust out into the rooms. I'm cleaning dust constantly off of the fans, ceiling, furniture. What is going on!? Have one of the ducts come undone? Help! I have tried new filters, not helping
First you must replace the filter and if you use the AC and heat on daily bases. Filters must be replaced at least every 2 or 3 moths. It's going to be a little while before the dust clears out since the duct work accumulated particle pass the filter from that old filter. Good luck...!

Mine face the windows and walls, it seems they should be facinging inward toward the center of the room. My AC people said they were right, what do you think?
Well technically it depends on the layout of the room. I have always installed them to creat a swirl effect. (ex. bounce air off walls.) But I amnot sure why they would face one toward a window. That would warm the air from the outside and you would have some heat loss.
