Energy Saving Devices

Autos with cooling systems will often have that stale Woodland Hills Air Conditioning smell that is certainly being emitted through the grills releasing unnecessary smell that will annoys and bother many drivers and passengers. In most cases happens during the first motor start for three to five min’s which is common for people to experience upon turning on of their air conditioning units.

The unpleasant smell could eventually fade and dissolve using the surroundings usually after a few min’s of air conditioning. The smell though not often or not will remain as long as the air conditioning is on or fan is blowing. The newest car models are also not spared from liberating this kind of annoying stale scent and even vulnerable to it. This stale smell could be annoying, uncomfortable and annoying even though does not contain any health hazard.

It is necessary to do your own research and review with regards to the several types of air conditioning units in order to gain more expertise and improve a better understanding when it comes to prevention and managing unpleasant smell with your air conditioning units. A little elbow grease and disinfectant are one of possible prevention tools in getting rid of scents like these. The same problem can become prevented from re-occurring redundantly.

  • Avatar Dawn Question about Central Air Conditioning blower motor or fan inside house?
Jul 11, 2010 by Dawn | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs

My Central Air conditioning inside Blower motor, (I call it a fan), will cut-out or stop, and start, leaving the Air Conditioning Unit outside still running without the fan inside running. This has sometimes caused Ice to build up on the coils inside and a little on the unit outside unless I turn the unit to OFF at the thermostat. Usually the problem starts in the afternoon when it s been running all day. It has even cut off when the fan is turned …

    • Your fan motor has a temperature sensor that will stop the motor if it gets to hot. When the compressor is running and the fan is not try and see if you can get a feel of the fan motor. Don t burn yourself if it s very hot, it s bad. They should have changed the relay if the motor wasn t hot when they were there and it was not on. Talk to the owner of the company. Explain very calmly, that you had them there 3 times and it s not fixed. Mention …

  • Avatar billy bob How did pack rats get into the blower motor of my car's air conditioning and heating system?
May 11, 2007 by billy bob | Posted in Other - Home & Garden

Pack rats also known I believe as the norway wood rat built little nests in my cars blower motor (Yuck) for the air conditioning and heating ventilation system. They also built nests in the air intake (air box) for the intake manifold. How did the little buggers get in? I am currently using rat bait packs. Any other suggestions?

    • I worked on a ranch in washington state for a while and let me tell you, pack rats can get ANYWHERE!! They can squeeze through surprisingly small holes, pretty much anything they can fit their head through they can shimmy in. I wouldnt recomend starting the car because who knows what theyve dragged into there, and the heat could start a fire or mess up a part of the engine. If the bait doesnt work you could try to smoke them out or flush them …
